Beyond Boundaries,
the premier 5D/XD Cinema chain allies with Franchise India, Asia’s
leading franchise and retail solution provider for further
penetration and expansion across India. The company is owned by Mr.
Rave Shankar. Besides theatres in posh locales like Express Avenue mall in
Chennai and Brookfields Mall in Coimbatore, and the company also owns “I Play”
a unique entertainment concept with XD Cinema, Snow Play and Ice Café at
Phoneix Market City, Chennai. The company is also launching “The Magic House” a
concept first time in India in Phoenix Market City, Chennai.

Targeting both the Metro and Tier I, the company plans to have their theatres
in prominent malls across India. Besides, their target audiences are people
from all age groups with children and teenagers being their key focus. The
company has adopted the Projected Performance Strategy along with Opportunistic
Strategy to open halls through unit franchisees across India. The state of the
art 5D/XD cinema technology and the first-rate set up giving a world class
experience differentiates Beyond Boundaries in its space.

Beyond Boundaries is also in the final plans to create new concepts like
“Illusion”, “Live Sketch Book”, “Dome Theater” etc

already in place. In a total of 3-4 years of operations, we aim to roll out
around 30 franchise outlets in major metros as well as in Tier I cities on an

The company during
the first one year, plans to open 8 franchise cinemas in the metro cities of
Delhi/NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The second year will focus
on the tier-I cities. Only 10% growth is expected be through equity
investments.
