ITM UNIVERSITY STUDENTS GET TOGETHER FOR THE DAZZLING ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST!


RDB Sikh Brothers known for their signature blend of western beats with traditional Punjabi vocals and a huge fan following, also perform to mark a perfect festival
Students of ITM University today came together for their  sparkling annual cultural bonanza that gave them the platform to display their extra-curricular talents and compete for supremacy in a sphere other than academics.

The 11th Annual Cultural Fest, MOMENTUM 2013 aimed at enhancing the skills of students and to motivate them to do their best in whatever they do, witnessed bunch of talents unfolding throughout the day as students participated in multiple competitions and talent hunts.
The day long fest was meticulously slotted with competitions like collage & rangoli-making, ad mad competition, mehendi designing, face painting, treasure hunts, followed by onstage programmes like inter-college competitions in group dance, solo dance, street plays, fashion shows, war of bands and many more.
Mr. & Ms. Momentum 2013 & Mr. & Ms. ITM were selected by the University Community as the annual fest hit its last leg.

The highlight of the event was the famous Sikh brothers of RDB, popular for composing soundtracks like ‘Rafta Rafta’ and ‘Sadi Gali’ who hit the stage with a live performance that marked the end of Momentum 2013 with a wow factor. Students were seen dancing to their beats and soaking in the soundtracks.

The ITMU Cultural Fest has in the past witnessed the presence of star performers like rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, Mika, Mohit Chauhan, Euphoria, Bombay Rockers, Juggy D, and Stereo Nation among others.

“At ITMU we not only groom students who excel in academics but we also make sure we promote the acceptance of art and culture in our students and encourage them to take up such activities. We believe in nurturing students who are aware, active, involved and competitive as only these can grow up into active and responsible citizens of the country,” said Vice Chancellor Prof Prem Vrat.

The University community also awarded the best of the best among all the participants, who have excelled in various activities and competitions held on the day.
